AMSOIL - Oil Twins and Knufamily Racing Team Sign Sponsorship Agreement for 2014 APBA Season
MONTCLAIR, Calf. (February 10, 2014) — The AMSOIL - Oil Twins are pleased to announce the signing of a sponsorship agreement with Knufamily Racing Team, a boat racing family dating back three generations from Chino California.
AMSOIL - Oil Twins, based in Montclair, Calf., joined the Knufamily Racing Team in March of 2013 after meeting team owner Kenny Knudson at the Los Angeles Boat Show. The AMSOIL - Oil Twins are featured on the team's race boats along with the team promoting the Oil Twins online and at shows.

ERIC BROWN WINS BEFORE SELLOUT CROWD IN ANAHEIM!
1-888-Oil-Twins
For Further Information, contact
the Oil Twins: 1-888-Oil-Twins
(February 13, 2014, Montclair,
CA) Oil Twins sponsored driver Eric
Brown debuted his brand new race car in smashing fashion when he swept the
show by winning both the Democross heat
race and main event Trailer Figure 8 races in front of a sellout crowd at
Angels Stadium, home of Major League Baseball’s California Angels of Los
Angeles, at the Anaheim Monster Jam in January.
After a quick afternoon test to
shakedown the newly finished 1977 Monte Carlo at his home track, Perris Auto
Speedway, the Riverside, California resident and his crew made the short
journey to Anaheim for what turned to be a very successful unveiling. With more
than 50,000 fans looking on, Brown, with his car decked out in its usual bright
green paint job and festooned with large Amsoil logos, emerged from the pit
tunnel to thunderous applause.
“Coming out from the tunnel and
onto the track in front of all of those fans gave me goose bumps,” the
26-year-old structural designer shared after the successful night. “I mean, you could literally hear them over
the roar of the engines. It was very,
very exciting and they kept it up all through the race and all the way to when
we drove up the tunnel to leave after the checkered flag.”
Brown, who is getting married on
November 8th.won that Figure 8 Trailer race and that victory &
the enthusiasm of the packed house set the table for the Democross
challenge. Once again to the roar of the
fans, he captured his second winner’s trophy of the night and left a bug
impression on the sellout crowd.
The Anaheim race was the first of
sixteen Brown has planned for 2014. Five
of the remaining events are slated for Perris Auto Speedway where they draw
huge crowds. In addition to his racing
endeavors, Brown also displays his car at events in conjunction with the famous
Amsoil Oil Twins Casey and Andy Jones,
“I enjoy working with Andy &
Casey to promote Amsoil products and racing in Southern California,” the fifth
year racer said. “I met them when I
started using quality Amsoil products in my car. They have been very supportive of my racing
efforts and we have become very good friends away from the track as well.”
2014 will be Brown’s first full
season of being sponsored by the famous Amsoil Oil Twins from Montclair,
California and they feel likewise about the affable racer.
“We met Eric after an event at
Perris Auto Speedway in 2012,” said Andy Jones.
“My brother and I were immediately struck by his professionalism, his
ability on the track and how well he interacted with all of the Perris
fans. It was great to see him take the
same qualities and win on such a huge platform at Anaheim. He is not only a great racer, but he is a
great person as well. We are proud that
he represents Amsoil and the Oil Twins in such a successful and professional
manner.”
Fans can hear Brown talk about his
Anaheim win, Amsoil sponsorship and 2014 plans this Sunday evening on the
Perris Auto Speedway portion of Dave Stall’s “San Diego Motorsports” radio show
this coming Sunday night, February 16th. The show runs from 9:00-10:00 PM Pacific
Standard Time on AM 1170. Fans from
outside of the San Diego area can listen live online at: http://kcbq.com/

"It was an unexpected surprise when I answered a knock on the trailer door this morning to find an official asking for a driver for the morning news", said Casey with a grin. "Being at Bayfair is all about the fans and what better way to connect with them then TV".

AMSOIL OIL TWINS SET FOR SAN DIEGO BAYFAIR THIS WEEKEND!
(September 11, 2013, Montclair, CA) The famous Amsoil Oil Twins of Montclair, California, are set for a great weekend of boat racing at the APBA sanctioned San Diego Bayfair on Mission Bay starting on Friday. Casey Jones will be driving “Miss AMSOIL”, an APBA A Stock Hydroplane (ASH).
Jones took his maiden boat racing voyage last month at Long Beach Marine Stadium. He and his team will trek to San Diego Thursday afternoon and will take to the water first thing Friday morning.
“Our first race is Heat #1 & Final AX Hydroplane Friday at 8:30 AM,” the rookie driver said. “We are going to race two different classes for the three days. The ASH (A Stock Hydro) class and the AXH class which is more of a Junior Class with a restrictor plate. Each day there will be a first and a final heat per class. There are eight boats coming that we know of in the A Stock Hydro and probably about four boats in the AX class.”
Casey Jones in action last month at Long Beach Marine Stadium.
Jones and crew chief Andy Jones have worked hard at resolving the glitches they encountered during their initial outing at Long Beach. They have labored countless hours on the attractive boat and have had it out for a test run where it performed flawlessly.
“We know there were some electrical issues and also some fuel delivery concerns,” Jones lamented. “We went through the motor on the fuel side and the ignition side and didn’t have an issue with these things when we went out and tested over Labor Day Weekend. We were dialing in the set up and we were making sure the reliability is there.”
Jones main focus for San Diego is getting in laps and finishing races. When he did so at Long Beach he did well including a second place heat race finish. “My goal is not to be towed back in and I think we are going to accomplish that,” he confidently stated.
In addition to his own racing, Jones is excited about the prospects of all of the other Oil Twins sponsored boats that will be in competition.
“Doing a quick count, there will actually be five boats out there that are part of the Amsoil/Oil Twins family,” Jones stated. “I would be pleased if they swept the podium (ASH Class) this weekend. With five of the eight showing up being Oil Twins sponsored, that is quite possible. That is what my bigger goal is.”
Jones wants to thank all of those who make his racing endeavor possible.
“Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my wife Ava, my brother & crew chief Andy Jones, AMSOIL - OilTwins.com, Lifeline Race Gear, Jennings Racing, Doidge Racing, Knufamily Racing, Chino Signs Plus, Perris Auto Speedway and SeaTow. Without their help, this would not be possible,” he said.
San Diego Bayfair is a fun weekend full of great boat racing, including the APBA Unlimited Hydroplanes, live music, a Free Style Moto X exhibition, a craft beer fest, a kid’s zone and much more.
