For Immediate Release GREG ALEXANDER & AMSOIL TEAM UP FOR USAC/CRA SERIES! (Gardena, CA, March 31, 2011) When Greg Alexander hits the track at Perris Auto Speedway, "The Southern California Home of Major League Sprint Car Racing," for the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car race this Saturday night (April 2nd), the John Belegante owned #23 will have a brand new sponsor on the hood. On Thursday Alexander announced that Amsoil, "The Original Synthetic Oil," will now be one of his sponsors for the 2011 USAC/CRA campaign. Alexander, who will turn 22-years-old on April 19th, is very happy about the deal and considers the new sponsorship like an early birthday present. "It means a lot to get somebody like Amsoil to help us out," the excited driver said on Thursday. "John Belegante and I do not have a whole lot of money. Every bit of help we can get from anybody is great and we appreciate it. This really means a lot to us. I am excited to get to use Amsoil." Alexander attracted a lot of attention when he out qualified all of the big name, big funded teams in the season opening Sokola Class at Perris on March 12th. "Anytime an under funded team performs that well it gets your attention," Andy Jones of the Oil Twins said with a smile on Thursday. "This is a good opportunity for us to help them and get some product into their hands to enhance their performance. Greg is called "The Best Kept Secret in California Sprint Car Racing." That is a fair analysis now, but that cat is getting out of the bag. Hopefully we can help get it out faster" Alexander, who lives in Gardena, California, hopes to have another good performance like his Sokola Shootout qualifying effort this Saturday and for the rest of the year. "We are going to give it our all every lap like we did at the Sokola Shootout," he said. "Hopefully we can get another performance in like we did in qualifying and then get a better result than we did in the main event (after having to go the rear of the field, Alexander drove his way back to 11th)." "It is a good match between us and Greg's team," Jones said. "We are both equally excited to be working with each other. We look forward to further ventures with Greg and possibly with his 360 ride as things mature." Street Stocks vs Factory Stocks

(November 9, 2010 - Montclair, CA)
The "Oil Twins", Casey and Andy Jones, announce the Inaugural "OIL TWINS CHALLENGE". This invitational race puts five Street Stocks against five Factory Stocks on the 3/8 mile configuration. The race will take place at the end of Champion's Night at Perris Auto Speedway on November 20, 2010. To even the playing field, the track will consist of turns one and two on the quarter mile with three and four on the half mile. To even out the cars, the Factory Stocks will be given a timed head start.

The drivers will be racing for a winner takes all purse. The purse will start off with $200.00 and be increased by a raffle and driver sponsorship by the crowd. The raffle is for a case of AMSOIL "OE" Motor Oil. Tickets are $2 for one, $10 for 6 and $20 for twenty. Drivers can be sponsored for the event by individuals in the crowd and will get a mention during driver introduction.

"The race will bring an exciting end to the 2010 PASSCAR season." said Andy Jones. "We look forward to seeing the drivers show their talents". Lap count, handicap to be determined and the list drivers will be released at a later date.

Hope to see you there.

Stock Car Racing at the PAS

Come on out to Perris Auto Speedway and watch the AMSOIL sponsored teams battle it out.

Steven “Bam Bam” Fangmeyer is looking for a win after suffering two flat tires last race. For Steven to win he’ll have to get past the #5 of Tim Pyle. Tim returns to PAS after missing the previous race putting him down 62 points behind Fangmeyer.

In the Street Stock Class, the Everhart family is looking for a win. “Big Jake” in only four points out of second in standings. With his son, Dalton, only eleven points behind him in fourth place, Big Jake has some work to do.

Rough night for Oil Twins/AMSOIL Factory Stock Car Racers

(Montclair, CA - May 2 2010)– All three cars suffered multiple spin outs and cut tires. The completion has turned up the heat and raised the level of aggression in an attempt to knock series leader Tim Pyle for the number one spot.

Tim in the #5 Camaro saved the car twice from t-boning the wall after being spun out. He battled and managed a fourth place finish after being shuffled to the back twice and a cut left tire. “The car came home in one piece, that’s the important part. It’s a long series and we’ll race how we are raced. We’ll be taking the gloves off if we have to and answering back”, said Pyle.

The 50 car driven by Steve Fangmeyer won his heat race but, had a similar story in the main event. He was spun early on and suffered a flat which put him in the pits for a tire change. Steve got up on the wheel and drove back to finish in fifth. We’d like to use a quote from Steve, but it wouldn’t be politically correct.

Mike Burks Sr. driving the 55 probably had the worst of the beating. When he was spun, the driver’s door took a hard hit, the rear axel was pushed back on the right side and he suffered a flat on the left side. He finished the race running.

Thanks to teams who support Still Movin’ Motors and BBR Motorsports. Their effort and team work to keep AMSOIL up front!
